Aparat Kepolisian Daerah Sumatera Selatan mengungkap motif kasus penganiayaan yang dialami seorang dokter koas di sebuah kafe di Palembang pada tanggal 10 Desember 2024 karena pelaku kesal atas perilaku korban yang dianggap tidak sopan.
“Motifnya adalah pelaku FD kesal melihat korban seperti tidak merespons ibu teman korban, yakni Lina Dedy. Pelaku sudah kerja 20 tahun pada ibu teman korban dan bila kita melihat memang pelaku secara spontan menganiaya korban,” kata Direktur Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda Sumsel Komisaris Besar Polisi M. Anwar Reksowidjojo saat konferensi pers di Palembang, Sabtu.
Ia mengatakan bahwa pelaku yang sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka melakukan penganiayaan secara spontan tanpa diperintah Lina Dedy.
Peristiwa penganiayaan tersebut berawal ketika teman korban yang berinisial Lady dijadwalkan tugas jaga saat malam tahun baru sehingga Lina Dedy selaku ibu Lady mengintimidasi korban dengan memintanya mengubah jadwal tersebut.
Kasus tersebut terungkap setelah terlapor menyerahkan diri ke Polda Sumsel dan mengakui perbuatannya serta membenarkan kejadian tersebut. Pelaku dan barang bukti dibawa ke kantor untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
Anwar mengatakan pasal yang diterapkan terhadap tersangka ialah Pasal 351 ayat 2 KUHP dengan ancaman pidana penjara paling lama lima tahun.
Sebelumnya, Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Sumsel Komisaris Besar Polisi Sunarto mengatakan bahwa pihaknya menerima laporan kasus penganiayaan itu pada Kamis malam, 12 Desember 2024.
