Ketua Dewan Komisioner Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa menargetkan persiapan program penjaminan polis bisa rampung pada pertengahan tahun 2025.
“Saya pikir pertengahan tahun ini sudah kelihatan betul bentuk sistem program penjaminan polis yang akan dijalankan nanti,” kata Purbaya dalam konferensi pers Komite Stabilitas Sistem Keuangan (KSSK) di Jakarta, Jumat.
Usai Undang-Undang Pengembangan dan Penguatan Sektor Keuangan (UU P2SK) terbit, peraturan turunan mengenai program tersebut segera disiapkan, termasuk Peraturan Pemerintah (PP).
Saat ini, pihaknya tengah berkoordinasi secara intensif dengan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), Kementerian Keuangan dan Sekretariat Negara untuk memastikan bahwa PP tersebut dapat diterbitkan tepat waktu.
“Dalam rapat KSSK terakhir, sudah diputuskan bahwa PP terkait program penjaminan polis akan dikawal supaya bisa terbit sesuai dengan waktu yang ditentukan,” ujarnya.
Secara paralel, LPS juga mempersiapkan peraturan internal agar peraturan pelengkap sudah siap ketika PP diterbitkan.
Kebutuhan sumber daya manusia (SDM) untuk mengisi unit program penjaminan polis juga disiapkan, yang ditargetkan mencapai 60 persen dari kapasitas penuh pada 2028.
LPS juga mengirimkan staf untuk belajar dari program serupa di LPS internasional, seperti Korea, Malaysia, Kanada, Italia dan Taiwan untuk memastikan kesiapan program penjaminan polis.
Sistem dan infrastruktur teknologi juga terus ditingkatkan untuk mendukung program penyambungan polis agar lebih siap saat program dijalankan.
“Kami berharap PP dapat bisa keluar cepat sehingga pertengahan tahun bisa selesai semua. Kalau sudah selesai, saya akan mengusulkan ke Menteri Keuangan agar posisi dewan komisioner untuk penjaminan polis segera diisi,” tutur dia.
Sementara itu, jumlah rekening nasabah yang dijamin seluruh simpanannya oleh LPS hingga akhir Desember 2024 mencapai 99,94 persen dari total rekening atau setara 608.850.379 rekening untuk nasabah bank umum.
Untuk BPR/BPRS, hingga akhir November 2024, jumlah rekening yang dijamin mencapai 99,98 persen dari total rekening nasabah BPR/BPRS, atau setara dengan 15.817.553 rekening.
