– Grup band Dewa 19 kembali merilis single terbaru mereka bertajuk “Tak Ada Yang Sebanding Denganmu”, sekaligus menjadi single dengan tempo ballad pertama yang dinyanyikan oleh Ahmad Dhani sebagai vokalis utama dan sudah dapat didengarkan di berbagai platform streaming musik.
Sejak tahun 1992, lagu bernuansa ‘slow’ atau bertempo ballad selalu dinyanyikan oleh vokalis utama Dewa 19, yaitu Ari Lasso dan Once Mekel. Namun, kali ini Dewa 19 mulai bereksperimen dengan menampilkan Ahmad Dhani sebagai vokalis utama untuk membawakan lagu baru tersebut, seperti dikutip dari keterangan resminya di Jakarta, Jumat.
“Tak Ada Yang Sebanding Denganmu” adalah sebuah lagu yang terinspirasi dan diambil dari lagu instrumental pemain saxophone ternama, David Sanborn. Sementara lirik lagu tersebut diciptakan oleh Ahmad Dhani.
Menariknya, beberapa musisi juga ikut terlibat dalam proses pembuatan lagu “Tak Ada Yang Sebanding Denganmu”, yaitu Steve Lukather (anggota grup band TOTO) sebagai gitaris utama dan Dave Koz sebagai pemain saxophone. Ada juga Marcello Tahitoe yang ikut berpartisipasi sebagai backing vocal dalam proyek tersebut.
Di Tahun 2024, Dewa 19 konsisten dengan personel Ahmad Dhani (keyboard dan vokal), Andra Ramadhan (gitar), Yuke Sampurna (bass), dan Agung Yudha (drum). Tidak hanya itu, Dewa 19 juga mengajak Once Mekel dan Marcello Tahitoe untuk mengisi bagian vokal di proyek terbaru mereka dalam beberapa waktu ke depan.
